Info for New Students

The girls should wear a leotard, tights (which can be found at Target or Walmart) and pink leather ballet shoes (Payless has them). They can also wear cotton shirt and shorts with socks or barefoot for the first few weeks. We are in the process of planning a recital for the end of May/ early June.

About Instructor Christine Marra:

Christine Marra has been dancing for 23 years. She’s studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical and modern dance at a local Tampa studio. When she was in eighth grade she attended Orange Grove Middle School of the Performing Arts where she studied dance with professional teachers. Christine Marra went on to Blake High School of the Performing Arts, which she was accepted into after an intense audition process. While there Marra  studied with professional dance instructors and a variety of dance and theatre professionals from around the world. When she was 16 she started working at a local summer camp with children ages 4 to 12. When Christine  was 18 she was hired by a daycare to take care of children ages 1 to 12 years old and earned her state of Florida Child Development Certification (CDA) to work with children in Florida.
